At this point I believe that the lens would fit the camera, but remember that this lens will give a 2.5 x enlgargement to your image.

If for example, you set your subject up with a normal lens (101mm) and you have a nice bust shot
where the head is 3/4" long on the neg. With this lens, the head will be nearly 2" long (1 7/8")

I don't have my lens formulas handy right now but I suspect the reverse is true. If you use the 101 lens for the same head and shoulders shot and stand X feet away, I think to duplicate the same image with the 10" you'll need to be 2.5x farther back.

This is really mixing apples and oranges to a degree, because you wouldn't use these two lenses for the same application.

Another thing to consider is that the mini speed did not use folding stops. If you want to focus this 10" or the 8" you'll have to:
1. release the arms that lock the bed down (they just snap, no tools)

2. Drop the bed.

3. bring the front standard out and hook on the front of the bed

4. re attach the arms.

On the 8 inch lens you MAY be able to set it to the stops of the normal lens and just rack it out to get it to focus, on the 10" there's just not enough track for it to focus on anything but infinity if that. In either case you'll be Ground glass focusing.

Or the other option is to set the stops and the rangfinder for the 8" and then ground glass the normal lens. At least this way you won't have to pull the bellows out and around. ( I Don't think you can set the rangfinder for the 10" on the Mini)
