I'm betting it's a 10" tele lens. Most of Uncle Sam's tele lenses like this came from Wollensak and were thus Tele Optars. A few came from Elgeet.

You've got a point. The Tele lens acts like a 6" lens, the 10" Kodak is a long lens (non tele)

This fellow is from the 7th Combat Camera Unit looking out of a captured bunker on Iwo Jima. This was used as an observation post to film air activities over the island. |
