I'm betting it's a 10" tele lens. Most of Uncle Sam's tele lenses like this came from Wollensak and were thus Tele Optars. A few came from Elgeet.

They had the same military designation.

Canadian Signal Corps used this lens in place to the 127mm during WW2

You've got a point. The Tele lens acts like a 6" lens, the 10" Kodak is a long lens (non tele)

And in the photo he's got the bellows pulled out quite a bit. And I"m assuming this isn't a staged shot, so it may be the 10" Kodak.

This fellow is from the 7th Combat Camera Unit looking out of a captured bunker on Iwo Jima. This was used as an observation post to film air activities over the island.
