1. The Top Mounted Rangefinder
has a "Rangelight". This was to help focus the camer in a dim light situation. Stand about 8-10 feet from a white wall in a darkened room. Press the red button, you sould see 2 spots on the wall. Adjust the focus untill the spots converge, the camera should be in proper focus...
2. The pop up circle is really the "rear peepsight" for the "Open Frame Finder" (sports finder,) to use it you need to raise the open frame located on the top of the lens board frame assembly. (looks like a spring)With your thumb and index finger squeeze the sides of the extndible frame and lift upwards. Now you should have a wire frame out front with the raised peep
sight in the rear. Look through the peep and the frame will define the picture area. The peepsight adjusts up and down to correct for prallax...
3.The Flash, (short answer) Make sure you have fresh batteries in the flash handle (like a flashlight) connect the Sync cord from the shutter (the two brass posts)to one of the AC plugs on the flash handle shutter(Shutter) make sure the shutter is set to "M". Insert a flash bulb (assuming you have a later model)just push the bulb into the socket,(the silver button on back "pops" the used bulbs out. Trip the shutter and the flash bulb should go off. With the correct sync cord you can use and electronic flash with the shutter set to "X".
A good book is "Graphic Graflex Photography"
by Morgan and Lester can often be found on Ebay Auctions

Hope this helps

: laugh about this, but they don't know
: enough about cameras to explain what
: you do with it and I was raised on
: electronic units.) Could someone please
: help?

: Any answers to the above would be greatly
: appriciated.

: Thank You,
