I just picked up a 2x3 Crown graphic with a kodak ektar 3.7/ 105mm. Where can I get a cable release for the shutter? Also can I use a 50mm lens on my 35mm camera to meter with. Do I have to make corrections for bellows extension and /or movements? What apeture do I need to use to overcome the roll film not being completely flat.

Unless you are shooting closer than 3 or 4 feet don't worry about bellows extension. use your 35mm rig for metering. Depending on how bad our back is, you'll need to stop down into the f11-22 range. This still may not correct for curved film.

Any camera store should be able to sell you a cable release.

Yes, a 50 mm on 35 is a little long for a normal lens -- normal for the format is 43 mm -- but you can meter with it.

For normal out-and-about use no corrections for extension are needed. No corrections for movements are needed either, but your lens won't allow much. On the other hand, your camera doesn't offer much.

Film flatness shouldn't be a big problem, for good sharpness shoot between f/8 and f/16.

Don't worry, be happy. In other words, just go shoot and enjoy yourself.

FWIW, some 35mm cameras featured 50mm as their "standard" lens. For example, I have an Argus C-3, 50mm....Minolta X-370, 50mm...and then a Kodak Signet 35 that is 44mm. Fred.
