Any suggestions for repairing/patching a 3-4mm tear in pleat of bellows near the front standard?

I took apart a crown bellows becuse of seperation between the inner and outer fabrics. This is not for the weak at heart. Unless the tear goes thru both fabrics you still will not have a light leak. If you do not,then I would cement a patch over the tear with contact cement and touch up with a dab of paint. My comments only. Russ
