After being off the Forum for a couple of years, mostly due to health issues, I've been getting back into photography again (can't wait until Spring finally gets here!) I was looking at some older posts and came across this one I posted about three years back>

I remember how concerned I was about the cleaning scratches on my Optar lens. I never followed up the posts and commented about how it worked out. I thought I'd post a link to a picture taken that Fall with the Optar. >

Looks like the lens is just fine. Please excuse my low cost Epson scanner adding its digital artifacts to the 4 x 5 print I copied this from.
Not the greatest pic ever, but its of a local park that I just love walking through. It brings me peace of mind looking at the photo. I thought it made a nice background for my MySpace page. >

I want to thank again those who responded to my original post and helped ease my mind.

Wow, fabulous shot! Gives me renewed confidence in, and affection for, my Optar 135. It sure does come in handy for architectural photography, too. A favorite lens in my kit, for certain. |

The image evokes a trace of pastoral autumnal beauty - of gazing towards the heavens as the leaves fall.
Thank you for showing Dave. |
