I acquired a Miniature Speed Graphic just before Christmas mainly to have it on display but because it is in excellent condition I've decided to use it. It is set up for 2 1/4 X 2 1/4 inch format and came with two roll film attachments. I ordered a few rolls of 120 and was loading it into a container but I don't know how to set the film exposure counter on the container.

The camera is complete except for the wire flip up viewfinder. Does anyone happen to have one *******?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think you can find a pdf download of the roll holder manual here:

http://www.southbristolviews.com/pics/Graphic/graphicmanuals.html

They all load thesame whether later lever wind or older knob wind.

Have fun...

Thanks for your help, I found the info on this site in page 11 of the chat room.

I still need a wire frame viewfinder if anyone has one ******* please, let me know.

Is it possible to use a strobe flash with these old cameras? If so what type/kind etc. and are they available?

Thanks again,

Dave Ramsey

Dave;

The focal plane shutter can only be used with a "strobe" or electronic flash by opening the shutter in the "T" setting, manually firing the flash then closing the shutter. It will not sync the electronic flash.
The front or between the lens shutter may sync an electronic flash. If it has an "X" sync setting that is for electronic flashes.
The electronic flash has so brief a flash that it must not be triggered until the shutter is fully open.
Hope that helps.
