|
|
I'm new in this place, but I'd like to inform the Forum that a website on Graflex Crown is now available in italian. Informations, suggestions, advices (even on such elementary topics as "how to load the film"...) are given, helped by photos etc. Well, you know, Graflex cameras and particularly Crown and Speed are almost unknown in Italy, so, as "a proud owner" of both of them, I tried to do my best to disseminate some basic knowledge, based mainly on my practical experience, using a language more familiar to potential "Graflex addicted". Of course, the Graflex website and this Forum is linked (I learned so much from it!). Your opinion is welcome !
The URL is http://digilander.libero.it/foto_ras/ .
Thanks for your attention.

Thanks for your comment! No doubt I'll use your posts and any else in case of need, giving the credits to the author.
At this time, I'm trying to replace the 3V small lamp for "night focusing" (in a Crown with top rangefinder) with a laser beam and the image of an arrow. OK, maybe it works: it's just for fun.
Regards.
Roberto. |

Google will translate from Italian. Just copy the URL and paste it in their search box.
The URL for the translated page is just tooooo long to post here. |

To Discpad:
Thanks for your appreciation. I'll add the link to the article by D. Burnett, but the link you gave for the movie seems not working and goes only to the main page of photo.net. I'll try to find an exact link and, to avoid misplacements in future versions of photo.net, my intention would be to store the movie (if not very very large) on the server for my website, giving also the link to the right place in photo.net . I don't think it's a copyrigth infirigement, isn't it ?
Thanks for your suggestion.
