Hello to all, this is my first post on anything like this. I am currently restoring an old Super Graphic which has a rotating back. The camera came with the rotating back hook up but not the actual back with the glass and the hood. So my question for all of you is any clue where or who might have a back I could purchase. I have been searching on ebay and all i can seem to find are ones for older graflex models. One more thing to add is I am also looking to purchase a new or used set of bellows. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Landon,
I believe the part you are looking for is called a Focus Panel as the back is attached to the camera via screws.
What is the problem with your bellows or do you not have any?

Several Super Graphic owners took their focus panels off and attached a roll film holder. If they did this out in the field the "Super Graphic Focus Panel Grinch" took the mislaid focus panel to its Super Secret storage depo for safe keeping. The Grinch still lurks about and will not release any of the focus panels for the Super series Graphics. No one has found the Grinch's storage depo either. I've been looking for a Super Focus Panel for over 5 years.

New or used in good condition bellows show up on ebay from time to time but don't hold your breath waiting for one.

The best bet to get these parts quickly would be to purchase a second camera and use one for parts to fix the other.

Thanks for your response Charles,

I'm actually fixing up this super graphic for my girlfriend which was also my parts camera. The bellows seem to be in good condition except for a few small holes but mainly the seem in the bottom of the bellows came unglued. I'm going to reglue them but was just trying to find out information on a new set just incase. Will the bellows from the toyo super graphic work with out modification?
Also i heard of possibly using an older focus panel from a speed or crown graphic on a super graphic. Not sure if this is possible. I'm just tryn to get this camera out and shooting as soon as possible.

Use the from search feature and "bellows repair" as the keyword and select search for all the terms and get 59 results. Repairing bellows has been thouroghly dicussed and there are a virety of valid ways to repair pin holes to major tears covered.
I think that a TOYO Super Graphic parts will work on the Graflex Super Graphic without any modification. The bellows are factory attached to the front standard block by several crimped lugs which are difficult to recrimp without damaging the bellows or front standard block if they are seperated.
A side RF Pacemaker Speed focus panel will not fit on a Super Speed. The hinges are different.

It really pains me to do this...but...

About a week ago, Pacific Rim Camera had two Super focus panels in stock. Then they had one I really can't afford the second... So check there. They are hard to come by...

http://www.pacificrimcamera.com/

They are great folks to do business with and generally have a good stock of Graflex items. And, they are super fast to ship. I've dealt with them quite often and have always been happy.

I saw one of them listed as a fixed price on ebay and sent Landon a PM with the listing number but he did not buy it. The focus panel appeared to have been hidding out in someones damp basement, out of the Grinch's reach, for a while.

Not to sure where you get your information from? Because I did buy it. I was hesitant because the item had some rust, but i figured its better to have a rusty back than no back at all. Thanks to everyone who has contributed. This was a great first experience with forums. Also its Ladon not Landon.

ebay completed auction showed no activity on the item shortly after completion. Good to hear the link worked or you were able to figure it out. At least it is useable or repairable. The listing showed up in one of my saved searches then did not show up in the same search and had several hours to go so now I know my ebay saved searches do not show every thing that is available.

Sorry about that, just assumed after glancing at the name.

If all the bellows needs is some re-gluing, that should be an easy fix as Charles pointed out. On a Super there is one other consideration about the servicability of the bellows - the contacts for the electric shutter release are in the bellows, and have a reputation for giving up the ghost. Obviously you could still release the shutter manually, but the electric release is neat. Have you tested the electric release on your camera?

BTW, the special batteries are available at Midwest.
