I have just recently bought a super speed graphic and would like to change the lens (it came with a Raptar wollensak 135mm F4.7).Can i use a modern 135mm lens without changing the rangefinder cam? (hope this isn't silly question!).
Also where can i get a lens panel to do this?
Thanks! |

| If you're willing to buy internationally, http://www.mpex.com and http://www.skgrimes.com sell lens boards (= lens panels in your dialect) to fit your camera. skgrimes will drill to suit a standard shutter, don't know if mpex offers this service.
About using your old "135 mm" cam with a new 135 mm lens. Maybe, maybe not. This for two reasons. Not all lenses with the same nominal focal length have the same actual focal length. And -- strictly speaking, this doesn't bear on the cam, but on the position of the infinity stops -- not all lenses with the same nominal focal length have the same flange-to-film distance at infinity.
Good luck, have fun,
