speeds and crowns (4X5)how wide a lense can you use on them? I wouldnt realy be thinking of more than 65mm as a max. Also is there a conversion page somewhere that i have missed that changes focal length inches into mm?

MM to inches is pretty easy, if I remember righ the conversion factor is 25.4, take your mm figure and divide by 25.4, such as with a 65mm divided by 25.4 comes out to about 2.55 inches 90mm comes out to 3.5 inches.

Um, you can use a wider lens on a Crown than on a Speed because the Crown has a shorter minimum flange to film distance.
On 2x3, the shortest lens reported to work is the 35/4.5 ApoGrandagon. I use a 38/4.5 Biogon on my Century and a 1.75"/2.8 Elcan (that's 44 mm) on my 2x3 Speed. I believe that the Elcan, which covers at best 6x7, can be made to work on a 4x5 Speed.
I haven't seen reports, but the 47/5.6 Super Angulon XL is supposed to cover 4x5 and I bet it can be mounted on a Century. |

| I've successfully used a 58 Grandagon on my Crown. Reports vary about the Speed. The safest is 90mm, others report certain 75mm lenses can be used. |
