I just got a 15" Graflex tele-optar but can't get it to focus without dropping the bed on my crown. Even then the closest object in focus is around 75-100 yards away.

Is this lens to big for my crown?

Thanks,

Mike

No, the 15-in. "Tele-Optar" isn't too long for a "Crown Graphic." With the track racked all the way forward and the front standard positioned at the front of the track, you should be able to focus at 8 ft. or a bit closer.

How does dropping the bed help? |
