I’m working on a Graflex rb series b 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 and got stuck when I found the curtain tension barrel appears broken. The geared shaft just spins, I assume the spring inside is broken. Any suggestions aside from trying to find a replacement from a donar camera. Anyone with experience in getting inside the barrel to reattach the spring.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
