can anyone offer words of wisdom on how to access the household blade contacts inside the upper barrel of the 2773 battery case. is it a one-piece unit that can be slipped out easily and, if so, how. i took the black plate & the top bulb cap off to have a look-see but couldn't see anyway to get the household socket assembly out. the battery case works, but there seems to be a only sporadic connection when using it to trip the shutter, so something seems to be amiss under the button. there was a gold-colored contact under there. i'd like to dig a little deeper if possible to try to put it to rights in order to get it snapping every time.
also what should be used to clean the contacts?
