I have a Meridian 45a that is in need of some TLC. It's complete and mechanically seems ok but could so with some cleaning and lubing.

My primary concern is the outer covering which is fabric on the 45a. The covering I have is complete but very worn/dusty.

My options seem to be

1) Restore, so go with a similar fabric covering.
2) Fo with something like the pebbled leather used on Linhoffs of the same vintage
3) something more exotic. I have liked the red MPP cameras that were made in England.

What to you all think?
