Hello:

I need (?) ok, want to build a focal plane shutter for a large Aero-Ektar lens for a homebrew camera.

I was advised to look at the Graflex Speed Graphic shutter as a learning guide.

The patent(s) would be the most helpful thing I could read.

Can anyone tell me the patent number(s)?

the first Graflex to have the multi-slit shutter was the 1906 Auto Graflex so you may want to search the indicies for 1904,05 & 06 for Folmer & Schwing or William Folmer
