Somehow I lost the little screws that fasten the nameplate badge. Can anyone tell me what thread size they are and/or where to find replacements? (They're smaller than 0-80.) Thanks! |

all I can say is that mine has a Diameter of 0.052" & I don't have a Threads gage
that small !! BUT that's like a #00 A #0-80 is 0.0600"
go see if your frindly Watch & Clock Repair shop can help!

Ivan;
IIRC the standard #00 machine screw has a pitch of 90 threads per inch and I believe that 1banjo has identified the diameter to # size correctly. Another source of small machine screws is a Hobby Shop that caters to the Model Railroad and/or R/C airplane hobbyists.

00-90 *is* a common machine screw size in model RR work, as C. Henry says. If you have a good hobby shop near you, your problem is solved! |
