This subject cropped up as part of a discussion on a 127mm Ektar I raised when I was just starting out.
I know that you can get forwards tilt by using bed drop and some rise to re-centre the lens.
How big a image circle should I have to ensure I don't run out of coverage?
If the diagonal of the format across the diagonal is 153mm how much does maximum rise need?
If a tilted forwards lens projects a ellipse that'd cut off the corners I assume I would need a bigger circle than to deal with the rise.
How much circle to cope with every possible movement?
