I have a new >factory made< covering made for a 4x5 Pacemaker! I have always thought that it was a man made product...the underlayment is a woven material and the outer layer appears to be maybe a latex type material! My trusty micrometer measures it at .035"! If anyone is interested I have a scanner photo of the underlayment I will send!

I am restoring a 1917 Auto Graflex Jr, and have found the same pattern of the underlayment on it as well!
