Anyone ever used this service to have your Graflex converted to use a grafloc back:

Would love to do this as I am itching to use a Super D with polaroid back.
TIA,

This guy is on the auction site we all know and love. (ahem).
Maybe one of his previous buyers can vouch for his work.
I might contact him to see if he would convert a 4x5 film holder to fit my 3x4 pacemaker.
Making a polo back to fit a 3x4 (#405) isn't so difficult. Getting the film plane straight is a "pita" though. You can convert the back with a dremel tool, an exacto knife and some patience and possibly one back to screw up first before you get it right. Mine works well. The 600 series pack film is cheaper, easier to deal with and offers more choices too. |
