I have a Super D in great shape. One problem: when open, the hood bends in at the top on each side where it is folded. This cuts off some of the viewing on each side. Is there a good fix for this? I have been thinking of two tiny coil springs with leather pads fastened to the inside of the hood attachment plate at the top and allowing them to push out the hood and also fold in properly. This is tricky and a bit delicate and I want to go slow. Any ideas?
