| t.r.sanford Joined: 10 Nov 2003 Posts: 812 | Posted: Wed Mar 24, 2004 2:36 pm "Doppel-anastigmat" was Goerz's early description of the lens later named "Dagor" -- that name supposedly being formed from "DOppel Anastigmat GÖRz." It thus covers a wider field than a Tessar-formula lens of the same focal length. A 135mm. "Doppel-Anastigmat" should cover 4X5 with room to spare. |
