It's the old "it's only worth what someone's willing to pay for it" syndrome. I bought my Strob 500 off of 'da Bay' for $70 last October and thought THAT was a bit steep considering that I had to go to Radio Shack and buy 8 NiMH batteries to replace the fossilized NiCADs. Oh well, I guess it beats investing in the stock market. |
