I'm doing some more research.
What I'm looking for are names and models of flash units and the cameras they go on. Now functionally we all know that a 2 cell Graflite Jr will work on 5x7 Speed Graphic with the proper front shutter, but nobody would actually buy that set up new. So what's out there in the third party world that I haven't found yet? I'll throw out some of the obvious ones to get things started.

Graflex 2 cell on a Minature Speed
Graflite 2 or 3 cell on Pacemaker models
SOL or Heiland on Anniversary and Pre-Anns
Kalart with Universal Sync on Minature Speed
Ektralux on a Pacemaker 23

Les...don't know if this is what you're wanting, but I have this gargantuan DeMornay Budd, New York, that was obviously made for a 4X5 Press Camera. It's heavy...accepts either medium or bayonet base lamps...takes 3 "D" cells..and has the clamp for attaching to the strip in a side-mounted RF. There's no model number or date...just DeMornay Budd New York on the rear of the adjustable reflector and on the battery case end-cap. Fred.
