IF your camera is a 4 X 5, there are two problems here: (1) Unless you are focusing on something quite close, there really isn't enough of an image circle from the 127 Ektar to permit any real movement; and (2) The problem you mention, that the lens standard ends up so close to the "box" (again unless you are focusing on something quite close) that there are severe mechanical limitations on possible movement. You might be able to gain a little on these if you could fit a recessed board so that the lens standard could come out a bit more, but there isn't much possibility of this because of the small size of the lens boards, and you would still have the limited image circle to contend with.
Better look for another lens; even a 162mm Optar or Raptar would offer more possibilities. RKS
