Dear Phil,
You've touched the third rail at the helpboard. Because of the the movie phenomenon, the board was shut down for over a year, many of these people tried, like you are, to get us to sell them flashes at less than market prices.
Consequently, we don't like them very much and view want ads like this, which are not permitted under the rules of the helpboard, with a great deal of suspicion. We are also not stupid, why should I sell an item for $30 when I can get ten times or at least 5 times that much?
You send me the serial number off of your dad's camera and if it checks out I will sell you one for $200. Post the number here on the site.
