: Your reply intrigues me. What is "oscilloscope
: photography"?

It's the taking of a picture of the display on an oscilloscope screen in order to preserve it for study, use in a publication, etc. The oscilloscope is a very basic electronic analytical tool which displays a graph of a time-varying voltage (or any other parameter which has been converted to a voltage). A good big dictionary or text on electronics will fill in the details.
The fast 75mm lenses were used very near 1:1 reproduction ratio, since oscilloscope screens are commonly about 5" in diameter, so these lenses could cover 3.25 X 4.25 Polaroid or probably even 4 X 5 without difficulty. At infinity, probably 6 X 6 cm. would be about it. RKS
