In response to LEs posting of 10/14/2000,
I actually have 3 "Green Graphics", one is a "standard" PH-47-J with bellows, R/F, flash bracket, etc. It seems to be a transitional or "post-Anniversary" model.
The other two are DEFINATLY Combat Graphics.
One is as I had mentioned, a standard model based on the Navy
manual I have.
However, the other one has two other wires, leading to what I can only beleive to be an "electric" shutter release, connected to a large brushed alum. solenoid next to the shutter, and connected to the release arm on the shutter. Additionally there is another "wire strap" in the inside of the camera, that is not present in the "standard" model. I have sent a group of pictures to Fred Lustig, and am awaiting his response.
None of these parts are shown in the pictures in the manual, nor are they present on the other camera. The "electric camera" also has a different back configuration that I am not familiar with, but I am FAR from an expert on these cameras, as I am just getting into collecting.
Thanks for the original reply, I hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks,
Mike Zimmerman
