: I found a speed graphic camera in my husband's family home
attic in New York. It appears to be in fairly good condition with
few nicks or marks.
: It had the original flash equipment with it though it was all in
pieces.
: It has a hugo meyer rangefinder attached to it and the model no
is a 4c. An plate attached to the camera says 'speed
graphic'.
: I cannot open the bellows and don't want to force it at all.
There are two metal screws? or pins? on each side and I have tried
twisting them, pulling them and pushing but the bellows will not
move. Any suggestions? Thanks, Patsy Dunn

Patsy--Two metal tabs UNDER lensboard --squeeze
together and pull--the pins you are trying to use
are to raise and lower the lensboard--be sure to
retract the rail back into the camera before
retracting the bellows and closing the door
>>also-on the lensboard as you face the lens<<
the lefthand nut rotates up--and the righthand
nut rotates down<<to loosen!!!
