Ok, I'm confessing now... I'm a sci-fi fan! But before
you panic, I'm not interested in destroying a Graflex
Flash to make a prop. Rather, I'm trying to create a
very accurate replica Graflex so that I can make a prop
without destroying an antique.
Here's the question: On the top of a Graflex 3-cell
there's a red button. Under this button is a
teardrop-shaped piece that swivels around if the button
is unscrewed. And at the end of the teardrop there's a
rivet. Does anyone have any clue as to what kind of
rivet this is? Can I still get one at a hardware store?
I've asked a lot of prop guys about this, but they
haven't a clue... so I figured I'd ask the experts on
the flashes themselves :)
Again, sorry for bringing up a prop question, but I
feel that it's very much a camera question too :)
