Kent--A little confusing with the before and after
photos--yes the diopter would help--the eyepieces
are swaged inside the case--not removable--the
gla ss in the Kalart is plain gla ss, no
magnification---the diopter is scr e wed into the
eyep iece--some old Kalart's did not have the
threads in the eyep iece! Value--if your old and as blind as I am,
$53 would be a drop in the bucket---by the way--all Kalarts
were
interchangable--they upgraded of coarse, and some
of the older cases were mounted differently, but
as a general rule, the new innards, will interchange with the old
