I have a speed graphic sr # 753497. I am trying to find out when it was made and any other info about it.

The serial number non-book is a little confused. In theory, serial numbers for 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 Pacemaker Speed Graphics reset and started from 750,000 some time in late 1949 or early 1950. However, the lowest s/n listed in that series is 754,001, dated 2/22/1950.

Best guess for your camera's date? Early 1950.

If it isn't a 3x4, all bets are off.
