Hi. I just got my Crown Graphic 3 weeks ago. serial number is 955197. When was it manufactured? It came with wooden film holders and dark slides are very difficult to remove. Can you tell me what type of holders to buy?
Thanks Don.

According to this « unofficial » list of examples dated by « the book », about 1962.

Most film holders work. The two popular ones are Lisco Regal II and Riteway. All the ones I’ve seen, even if made of wood, have plastic or metal dark slides. If the slide is difficult to move, perhaps try a little wax on the sliding edges. I have not experienced that problem myself.
