Recently acquired a nice Series B 4x5 and want to see if there is a way to use some Instant Fuji 4x5 with it. Have the Fuji PA-45 but it appears to be just a little too small for the Series B back. Anyone know of any holders, adapters, etc. that I can use to make this instant film back fit the camera properly. Thanks in advance!!

There are no adapters for instant film backs for the Graflex back.

Remove the back from the camera by removing the 12 screws on the back, 4 top, 4 bottom, 2 each side. The back frame will need to be rotated a few degrees to access all of them. The rear screws of the wind plate may have to be loosened a turn for the back to slip off.

Remove the screws from the outer frame to the wood blocks then rotate the frame about 45° and remove the screws from each end of the blocks by accessing the screws through the small hole in the felt
Make new wood blocks slightly wider so that the instant film holder sits in position centered over the film gate and install.

An adapter frame can be made to lock into the Graflex back to hold the instant film holder but the view ground glass will have to be shimmed to the instant film focal plane which will be more difficult as the view ground glass does not have much adjustment latitude.
