Hi,

Does anyone cut cams for new lenses? I have a Super Graphic and I'd like to use it with a couple of modern lenses. Is there anyone who can still do that -- and do it well?

Many thanks!

Its a DIY task that just about anyone can do.

The only difference between a Super and Super Speed Graphic is the badge and the Graphic 1000 shutter on the Super Speed.

Thanks so much. I read it all. But I know my technical skills aren’t up to this. Would you consider payment to do it for me? If not you, anyone else on this board? Thanks again.

Mount the camera on a tripod, measure the forward movement from infinity with a caliper https://www.ebay.com/itm/Digital-Electronic-Gauge-Stainless-Steel-Vernier-Caliper-150mm-6inch-Micrometer/112264269430?hash=item1a2378ce76:g:3CoAAOSwJQdW-IFq:rk:9:pf:0
measuring from the end of the rail guide (easiest) or the end of the bed 9more difficult) , measure the 100 foot and lesser distances from the film plane with a tape measure. A focusing target is easy to print and set up or use a building wall. Take the camera focusing measurements, do the basic math, then take the cam info in the post and your measurement info to a machinist and ask then to cut it for you. The cutting is the most difficult part.
I am not able to take in any work at this time.
