I'm new to large format photography having recently purchased a Pacemaker Speed Graphic with the 135mm f/4.7 lens. I am looking for a reasonably priced portrait lens for the Speed Graphic and have just started looking around. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Ed, I'm very happy with the Rodenstock Sironar 240mm f5.6. Mine is an older version from the 70s, which I acquired in a shutter for under $200. The Crown Graphic allows me to focus down to about 6 feet, which permits slightly wider than head and shoulders, more like waist and up portraits.

Excellent portrait. I'll look into that lens. Thanks.
