Recently purchased a KS-98B kit (1969) from a garage sale. I hadn't really looked at it closely till I got home. I have some picks of mods to the camera body and some (extension?) tubes that I cannot find any info on.
The body as you can see (link below) has had the rangefinder removed, a brass plate attached with a slide in mount for viewfinder accessories. I have two finders; one for the 100mm made by Singer, but marked on front "Polaroid". The other is a two piece affair from Singer marked as "Wide Angle" and has a detachable plastic piece marked out with grids for several focal lengths from 58mm to 180mm. It is stamped 3 x 3 3/4.
The objects I really want to know about are the four metal extension "tubes" marked 1, 1.5, 3 and 3.75. You can stack them all to the camera body and add the film back of choice.
Can anybody give me some sense as to when these extensions were added to this kit and exactly what they are called?

You can view the images here: http://stangodwin.com/photos-3/index.html

They're Spacers. They effectively extend the "bellows length" of the body.
