Hi all,
Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but I have been searching to no avail.

I have picked up a speedgraphic, looks like a pacemaker, it has a graflok back, side kalart rangefinder , all chrome focus rails and chrome front lens board and front standard, same size lens board as my crown graphic, however it has no body release and has the older style focal shutter with the 24 speeds and no front/shutter selector and I cant find a serial number anywhere. All the descriptions of non anniversary models seem to say this should have a body release?

Is this a combination of cameras or an earlier pacemaker?

Apologies again and point me in the right direction if I have just missed it.

Cheers,
Matt

Look for the s/n inside the box, under the top.

Sounds like an Anny to which a Graflok back has been retrofitted. Pacemaker Grafloks fill fit but won't have the flash sync connector at the upper left. Graflex Inc. made retrofit Grafloks for the Anny and Miniature Speed Graphic with the proper flash sync connector.

Annys were sold with Kalarts and a retrofit is also possible.

Does y'r camera have folding bed (inifinity) stops?

There was no "earlier Pacemaker."

Thanks I'll look for the serial number.

Yes it has the folding infinity stops..

Here are a (poor quality) couple of images of it. It was sold as a pacemaker but that doesn't necessarily mean a lot.

It's not an issue it would just be interesting to know what I have...

It sounds like a Anniversary that had a Pacemaker/Crown front standard and a Graflok back retro fitted to it. A Franken-graphic

Oh, dear, my memory's being slow. The US Army bought a batch of cameras like yours. Yours could well be factory-made, not cobbled up out of spare parts and broken cameras.
