Greetings,

So, I have two grafmatics loaded with film and took 4 and 5 shots in each. Since the 'magazine' of 6 is not finished that presents a problem next time I go out shooting. I'd rather step out with both six shooters reloaded and ready.

When one opens up the grafmatic and the film pops out is the order with the spent sheets on the bottom or the top of the stack? Surely the old timers would reload a partial magazine?

Thanks,

Tim

The unexposed septums with film are on top, the ones with exposed film on the bottom. The drawer locks after exposure 6 to prevent accidental double exposure.

In total darkness open the grafmatic as is and count off the unexposed sheets OR cycle the grafmatic to X (drawer lock) then open and count off the exposed sheets. The biggest risk is forgetting which grafmatic has what exposed/unexposed sheet count.

I always, and recommend, cycling the grafmatic after loading in total darkness a complete exposure 1 to drawer lock cycle.

Thanks very much, I was able to pull all the film, placing exposed / new in the proper storage boxes.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Best Regards,

Tim
