So, long story short.
I have a nice Crown Graphic body with intact bellows, Graflok back, rails in good shape, all good except---it is missing its sidemount rangefinder. How would I go about finding another one and installing it--or is this best solved by a) relying on the ground glass and forgetting a rangefinder and/or b) just buying another camera with a functioning rangefinder?

1) possible sources: popular auction site; "junker" body; commercial (Pacific Rim Camera, MidWest Camera, etc.); others? I don't know about installing one; my Century already had it. Only you can make the decision as to economics vs. convenience.

2) instructions for calibration: http://graflex.org/speed-graphic/kalart-adjustment.html

As to the latter, add: good set of small ("jeweler's") screwdrivers; lots of patience; supply of cold ones (*after* the job!); good luck!

For critical work, groundglass focusing is the way to go, IMO. If you plan to do much handheld work, the Kalart is mighty convenient and takes the guesswork out of it.
