On a 4x5 series D
The felt light trap inside has gone

Just asking in case I make mistakes when trying to replace it

How is the revolving back removed so I can replace the
material

Procedure/assembly is the same for all Graflex cameras regardless of size. A 4x5 may have six screws along the top and bottom edges.

Unless the D is radically different, it just a series of small wood screws around the sides top and bottom. If it doesn't come off with a little coaxing, you missed a screw.

If I remember correctly ten (100) flat head screws on the back and four(4) oval headed screws [2 per side].
    Keep the types of screws separate and in pastic bags of containers. They are hard to replace. You would need to buy another camera for parts.

    DO NOT USE AN OVAL HEADED SCREW ON THE BACK. IT WILL INTERFER WITH THE ROTATING BACK AND SCRAPE UP THE BACK PARTS.
