I got my first Graflex -- a Pacemaker 23 -- about a year and a half ago. What took me so long? An incredible camera with the possibility to use fabulous lenses!
A few of those mid-century nuggets from the House of Eastman:
#1, "whispers in the garden..."
#2, "next to nothing..."
#3, "march of the worm heads..."
#4, "dance with frangipani..."
#5, "garden clamor..."
All images Pacemaker Crown 23, RH-10 rollfilm back, on Neopan 400 in PMK pyro. Lens key, including "camerosity" date code:
#1: 100mm f/3.5 Ektar (EE/1944, remounted from Medalist I)
#2: 101mm f/4.5 Ektar (ES/1947)
#3: 105mm f/4.5 Kodak Anastigmat (EY/1940)
#4: 105mm f/3.7 Ektar (RA/1952), handheld
#5: 127mm f/4.5 Kodak Anastigmat (EY/1940)
(Mostly I use the small Graflex handheld. But this selection happens to be tripod mounted unless noted otherwise.)
No point in any of this, just "what you see is what you get"! |

Very nice! It's not the gear that makes the photo, it's the photographer. I like them all. _________________ Glenn
