				| I just bought my first speed graphic (it's an early model, the date on it says 1914). I didn't realize until after I bought it that it had the 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 back on it. I read on this site that it is possible to shave a 4x5 holder down to work. Has anyone on here done that? | |

				| Not possible, but if you're patient you'll find 3x4 sheet film holders. Have you tried http://www.mpex.com yet? | Quote: | | On 2006-08-01 06:25, chinweasle wrote:

If you want to shoot roll film, the best choice may be a 3x4 Adapt-A-Roll 620; these slip in like sheet film holders, have 2x3 gates. They exist -- I've had one -- but aren't common.

 Good luck, have fun,

				| Hello,
I have a couple of 3 x 4 film holders that I am not using. Contact me at wroberts1028 at yahoo.com and we can make a deal. Looking forward to hearing from you.

				| Just as a side note: You can use the std 2x3 rollbacks on the larger 4x5 sized backs, by adding birch plywood side extensions, and glueing them in place! Have a nice day.......Bert
