I recently acquired another Speed Graphic (getting to be a habit) and found a few problems that will need to be addressed. The part that I was hoping to get some help with is a damaged "speed control lever" (some searches I did lead me to believe that to be the correct name, but if not, I am referring to the small metal lever that allows the FP shutter to be set to either of the two sets of speeds). When the lever is set to the left it is fine, but when switched to the right, it is loose (no tension) and the small window through which the speed is displayed only shows about half the number. There does appear to have been some impact damage just to the left of the lever, so that most likely caused the problem. Before removing the outer plate, I was wondering if anyone knows what I should be looking for and how--if possible-- to repair it.
Thanks very much,
Jeff
