I have aHoneywell Strobonar 700 electronic flash which has a 3 pronged cord for my Super Speed Graphic. My repair person checked everything out because I can't get the unit to flash thru its attachment to the camera, and he concluded that I need a new cord. Does anyone know of a source for this type of flash cord? Thanks.

Talk to Paramount Cords, although I don't see it in their catalog. http://www.paramountcords.com. Russ

I have a couple of 770's here and they both use a two prong household type cord. They plug into the head underneath the flash tube in front og the AC adapter socket. Now, both sockets are "3 prong". The AC adapter socket has 3 pins and is more toward the handle. The flash to camera socket has 3 slots and toward the front. Only 2 slots are used. The center one always, plus either of the two outside slots. That way the cord (a standard household type) can be plugged in to face either direction, left or right. If yours has the same configuration. you could just plug in any household type plug and short the two terminals to see if it flashes. This is a standard cord available just about anywhere...
