Hi,

The flat steel piece that links the rangefinder and distance dial to the focusing
track has a bump in it right where the bed folds. It's bad enough to add some drag and
the dial and range finder hang up as the focus rail is extended. Is this from sitting in the closed position for too long? Has any one had this and been able to straighten the
flat spring out to remove the bump (and the hang uo)?

Is this flat piece available as a separate
item or does the whole tubular linkage need
to be replaced with it?
