Among the bits of documentation that I just got with a 34 Anneversary is a '47 brochure on Speed Graphics and their accessories. I suspect that this was probably the last one issued before the Pacemakers came out. Anyway, one thing that I found interesting was that the different formats essentially cost the same. The 23 was $189.55, the 34 and the 45 were 191.05 (all with Optars and the fully synchronized Graphex shutter). I would have thought that there would be more of a difference between them.

And, oh, for the chance to shop the list of accessories. Four pages of 'em, and most are plenty hard to find these days. How about a 45 Graflex viewing back for $8.30? That would let me check the focus on my 45 easily. Or how about a 5X7 bag mag for $26.60?

If it were me, I'd scan this and put it on-line somewhere.

While "constant-dollar" comparisons usually are misleading, I seem to recall that the first Hudson automobiles to roll off the assembly line when production resumed after WWII had a sticker price of $650. I'm not sure exactly what the contemporary comparison would be, but it does seem to suggest that a 4x5 "Speed Graphic" today would list for somewhere around $4,000...
