Graflex RB Auto S/N 20310. Yes its one of the very early designs in Excellent condition. It has a very nicely machined aluminum lens board that holds the Zeiss-Planar 4 1/4 X 6 1/2 that I ask about in lens help. It may have a replacement bellows as they are very soft and the inside lining is falling down at the seam but the material is real good condition. The seam of the bellows is at the top, correct for this vintage??
A small piece of leather is missing over the top hinge and minor scuffs and nicks else where. 3 of the 4 rubber feet are there.
The shutter works but the contorls are not smooth all the time. What looks like corrosion is evident inside the box both front and rear. It might even be mold, but its not heavy. I will accept any repair information offered. I plan to get the beauty polished and go use it. One could use it as is but would have frequent hang ups and frustrations.
Charles

factory dated serial numbers don't go back that far. From accurate dating of other cameras it's probably in the ''08-'10 era.

Does it say it was made by "Folmer & Schwing Division of Eastman Kodak"

Or "Folmer & Schwing Man. of Rochester NY"?

Name plate : Folmer & Schwing Division, Eastman Kodak Company, Rodchester N.Y.
Pictures available here for a limited time. Its a double extension, drop bed type.
Paine's book says they were produced starting in'09, and with a 5 digit serial number, I know its an early one and want to know how early.
