I've watched lots of people ask the question - what lens is this focus scale for that is mounted on my camera? And I had the same question. Unfortunatly it seems the company made lots of different scales all tweaked to the exact lens. Most of the time we'd just like to know if it is for a 90 or a 135, not necessarily caring if it is for a 136 or a 135!
I realized that from the lens equations you should be able to calculate what focal length lens the scale if for. A longer FL lens requires more extension to focus to the same nearby distance. Much high school algerbra latter I was able to solve the equations.
I could give you the equations - but why not a web page that does it for you? So I created a page which accepts your information and calculates what FL lens the scale should be for. Visit FocusScale
For the web techies - the page calculations are in javascript, so you can just copy the page. I'd appreciate credit if you use/like it.

NICE WORK BRIAN!!!!!!!!
Interestingly all of my focus scales calculate a little longer than what the lens is marked.
